Lady Mechanika#Winter-JungShan Ink Version

This is a nice experiment experience with America Comic artist, Joe Benitez.

I love and admire to his art so much, especially the "Lady Mechanika",

I am always curious the result combine America Comic with the Chinese ink

what will be it looks like?

so I wrote note to Joe and asked him for make collab drawing with me.

Thanks Joe and sent the pencil sketch to me. I used Chinese ink

way finish this drawing.

I will keep working this project, it is an interesting work!

Here I paint few of Chinese ink textures and I want to share them.

I am not sure that you are interesting this textures or not, so

I just upload 12 pcs.

If you are interesting to made the Asia style

drawing or design it is very useful.

These Chinese textures all paint on the traditions Chinese Xuan paper ,

Different textural quality will paint to the difference result. like the photos below:

1. cotton paper 2. fan paper 3. Banshuxuan

(part of name can not translate to English, so I wrote the

Chinese pronounce directly)

These papers difference which results in its texture being harder and its ability

to absorb water weaker.

Of course, I wish you can enjoy these textures, and I'd love to see the art

This drawing made by Photoshop brushes and Chinese ink,

[ZHOU] is meaning the universe.

The drawing background is a font, and by Chinese handwriting to [JUNG] this word,

ya, same as my name, but I just thought this font looks like a

mountain, so I chose this one to this draw's background.

Water Margin test page.

This is a test work for comic [Water Margin ], the story wrote by

a good writer Chris Pitts.

I made this test page and it is everything unsure use or not.

well, I think whatever this job got or gone, it is a good

experience to me.

たっくんが好きなの

This is speed painting, and it is not finish yet.

Because I have to finish his body and ink background.

Why I call this drawing to "たっくんが好きなの "

this is a song by Japanese singer Mizca & Allanhillz,

I listened this song on bus when I after work to go home.

it is a cute and sweet song, and make me feel like sunshine :D

SO ...0 It make me want to draw a man stand under the sun !

Japan 日本

Japan is a cool country, but I 've never been there before.

even I draw a lots samurai.

( I just prepare to go there on May and Octorber..)

The earth quake this time is very serious in Japan,

this is a big news in my country Taiwan.

because Japan is very close to us, and

we are friendly with each other.

In 1999, Taiwan happened 921 7.6 M/w earth quake,

Japanese rescue team is the first country team arrive to help us.

we are always remember it.

In recent, I touch a lots Japanese history and culture and entertainments,

I am more and more love this country and wish Japan can recover soon!

Ancient Chinese flat.

I am trying to draw the scenes and background pen sketch .

Of course it spent time but I really think that I have to try to

draw something different..

Because my drawing almost character only, I wish my drawing can combine with

more interesting scenes and background., like a short story..well..

This is a big work that I have to overcome! .................

Speed

I am tring to make drawing by speed painting,

just only use the simple brushes and black color to make the shape.

This is cover design for my Samurai series,

of course it wasn't a book. I will make a

samurai series slid show in my blog.

I used the Chinese ink to draw this series but the

samurai is Japanese samurai, not Chinese samurai.

Because I am interesting the Japanese samurai's culture

and the style ( hair style, clothes and the flight pose).
